Open paperport folder. Click an icon at the left side of the address bar. The folder path will be shown. Make a note of the folder path shown in the address bar. You may need to Run the compatibility troubleshooter. But first, uninstall the program the follow these steps:
1- Right click or hold tap on the “Paperport 14” executable installation file.
2- Left click or tap on the “Troubleshoot Compatibility” feature.
3- After the process has finished, left click or tap on the “Troubleshoot program” feature.
4- Now in the next window that appears, check the box next to “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”.
